About the Club

JYP Jyväskylä is an ice hockey organisation in the Liiga and is a treasure for the city of Jyväskylä and surrounding regions. The club achieved promotion to the league in the spring of 1985, and has played there ever since.

The team’s golden era was between 2008-2018 with two national championships and two European championships. After couple challenging seasons JYP is now rebuilding to regain its place in the top of the Liiga.
